DIY: Gold Metallic Word Wall Art

I've been feeling pretty crafty lately, and I decided to spray paint some cardboard inspirational words that I picked up from Hobby Lobby (one of my new favorite craft and home decor store). For about $2.50 - $3 each (that's with 50% off, the regular price for them is $4.99-$5.99) I grabbed: Believe, Love, Faith, and Live. On the back of each word, there is a hole on each side so that you can hang them up.

I also purchased some RUST-OLEUM 2 X Ultra Cover Spray paint in "Metallic Bright Gold" from Walmart for about $3.86 and got to work.

I think the words came out really nice, and they'll look great in the space that I painted them for. I did about 2-3 coats of paint on each word, and the paint dried super fast. This is definitely something to do outside though, because the smell is really strong (so you want to be in a well ventilated area if you're not able to do this outside).

I think I want to spray paint a couple of old wooden tables with this paint next...we'll see what happens.

I'm also working on some more craft stuff for my office and my makeup area, so let me know if you guys wanna see that too!
