Ardell Mechanical Brow Pencil Review

If you follow me on twitter (@FlyFierceFab), you might have seen me tweet about my trip to CVS where I came across some brow products by Ardell. Since I love their lashes (my go to's are their Demi Wispies, and I love their Double Up lashes when I'm feeling dramatic), I thought I might check out their brow products.

I purchased the Ardell Mechanical Brow Pencil in "Dark Brown" and decided to give it a try. I believe the eyebrow pencil was $6.99. I've used it for a few weeks, so I feel like I've gotten a good sense of what the product has to offer.

Brows done with Ardell's Mechanical Eye Pencil

It's easy to use. I feel like using a pencil is just easier than using a product that requires me to use a brush to apply it.

It can be applied quickly, and there's a spooly brush attached to the pencil so that you can brush your brows into place and blend the pencil.

The color was a pretty good match

It's relatively inexpensive

The pencil is mechanical, so you don't have to worry about needing to keep a sharpener nearby.

This will probably work well for you if you have fuller brows (or thicker brow hairs), to fill them in without going overboard.

Brow's done with Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow

It's not waterproof (which Dipbrow, my brow product of choice is).

Since it's not waterproof, I feel like it kind of fades by the end of the day (especially in this summer heat, ya girl is out here sweating glistening)

I would like just a *tiny bit* more coverage

Since I have really fine eyebrow hairs, I personally feel like I need a bit more coverage from my brow I can't see this being my go-to brow product. It does come in handy however if I'm in a rush, and need to fill my eyebrows in super quick. I'll be sticking with Dipbrow for now though.
