NYX Cosmetics Faveorites

Ciao Bellas,
Not too long ago my local CVS started carrying NYX Cosmetics products, and I decided to check them out. I've been using some of their products for the past month or two and I've fallen in love. They have some really great quality products, that last for a long time, are super pigmented, and aren't super expensive. You can purchase NYX Cosmetics products online at NYX Cosmetics, online and in some CVS stores, and online and in stores at Ulta. Here are some of my faves:

Eye Products:

Jumbo Eye Pencil ($4.50 ea): I literally use this every singe say. I have the Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk (a MUST HAVE), Pure Gold, Knight, Purple Velvet, and Peacock. I'll actually probably wind up buying them in every color. I love to use these as a base for my eye shadows, using Milk under any shadow that I want to make pop, and then the other colors under shadows in that color family (like I'll use Gold under my gold tone eye shadows, and Knight under a really dark smokey eye). On their own I do find that they crease a little bit...but I don't really run into that problem when I use it under eye shadow. I use them as eye liners as well, and I find them to be really long last and super pigmented. Be sure to get a jumbo pencil sharpener so that you can keep the pencils sharpened!

Wonder Pencil in Deep ($4.50 ea): An old makeup trick is to use white eyeliner on your lower water line to make your eyes look really big, and make you look more awake. This can be kind of a harsh look on some skin tones, so I prefer to use this pencil to get a similar effect (and it's long lasting). It can also be used to conceal blemishes, and to line your lips.

Gel Liner and Smudger ($9.00): This right here is saving me a whole bunch of money. I was addicted to MAC's fluidline, but this liner by NYX does the same job for almost half the price. It's really pigmented, and long lasting (I have it in Betty, which is described as an intense matte black). I apply it with an angle liner brush, and it stays put until I take my makeup off at night.

Liquid Crystal Liner ($4.50 ea): Anybody that knows me can tell you that I LOVE me some glitter haha. I have the Liquid Crystal Liner in Crystal Gold, and I think that it's really pretty and easy to work with. The glitter isn't too chunky, and it stays put.

Glam Lipgloss Aqua Luxe ($6.00): At first I was a little apprehensive about buying this, because if you just look at it in the packaging it looks like it could be wayyy too much (Like disco ball too much). I'm so glad that I bought it though, because that's not the case at all. I purchased it the Glam Lipgloss Aqua Luxe in Disco Playground (Gold), and it's quickly become one of my fave NYX products. It adds the perfect amount of sheer gold shimmer / glitter over any gloss or lipstick that I pair it with. I'm sure that it would look pretty on it's own too, but I use it to add a little something something to my other lip colors.

Butter Gloss ($5.00): These have slowly but surely become my fave glosses because their inexpensive, pigemented, they're not sticky (I really don't like stick glosses), and they come in some really pretty colors. I have them in Maple Blondie (my FAVE), Peaches and Cream, and Apple Streudel. I think I spend most of my CVS Extracare Bucks on these haha. They always seem to run low on these in all the stores I go to, so apparetnly I'm not the only one that loves them. They do last for a decent amount of time, and they're moisturizing as well.

So that rounds up my fave NYX Cosmetics products that I've purchased so far, and if you haven't checked them out yet I definately suggest that you do. I love that they're inexpensive, but are really great quality. Their products also make really good gifts (I've been hooking my girls up on their birthdays, and this past Mother's Day), and I also see some new products that I wanna try as well (like their Honey Dew Me Up Primer). NYX Cosmetics is probably one of, if not the best cheaper (in price point) makeup brands that I've come across...which means lot of new goodies for me without spending up all my coins haha. Their products will definately be popping up in my upcoming makeup tutorials (I'ma get the hang of it y'all), so watch for those!
