Balling on a Budget: Rocking My Wedge Sneakers Pt I

A couple of posts ago I promised to show you how I'm rocking my wedge sneakers from Charlotte Russe (Retail $38.50). As you can see I have my jacket on (which is all kinds of cheetahlicious), but thats only because I was out at night and I just remembered to take a picture before I started heading in. Anyhoo, I kept it cute and casual with a pair of skinny jeans by Paige Denim, a lip print sweater that I purchased a few weeks ago at Forever 21 (it was about $22, I don't see it online though. I got it to wear on valentines day), and a collar rhinestone necklace that I've worn with a bunch of looks I've posted in the past.

This was my first time wearing these wedge sneakers out, and I must say that they were really comfortable. I'll have to keep an eye out for a similar style in other colors. I've heard that some people are rocking these with fitted mini skirts and dresses, so I might try something similar and post it for y'all. I've never really been a sneakers and skirts kind of girl, but we'll see what happens. I'm trying to have a little more fun with my super casual looks nowadays, and be a little more edgy.

I'm thinking that wedge sneakers could be really cute when things warm up in the spring and summer, like with distressed jeans (especially skinnies, possibly even boyfriend jeans), fitted skirts, tailored blazers and the like. Pretty much putting together a fun, classic look, and using the wedge sneakers to give them a casual yet edgy vibe. A nice juxtaposition, no? Don't forget that wedge sneakers look really cute with leggings as well, so the possibilities are pretty much endless. It's all about keeping it fun and casual Bella's.

How are y'all rocking your wedge sneakers?

ETA: The lip print sweater I'm rocking here just became available online at Forever 21 Bella's, so if you  liked it you can get it online!
