Indique Fishnet Review: Ya girl got Indique'd (Edited Oct 2nd 2012)

Ciao Bella's,
Not too long ago I was contemplating getting a sew in (which I will do in the near future), so I was looking for some high quality decently affordable hair. My search somehow lead me to Indique (www.indiquehair.com), which offers virgin remy hair with cuticle layers all falling in the same direction. I won't bore you with all the details, you can read more on that here (https://www.indiquehair.com/about/ourhair.html). Anyways, as I researched the hair to try and find out more about it and see some pictures, I found that a lot of celebrities wear it like Angela Simmons (who currently has a line of hair out with them called "Bikini"), the ladies from Love & Hip Hop, Ciara, Cassie, Chanel Iman, Aubrey O Day, Sheree Whitfield, and Lady Gaga just to name a few. You can check out their pics on Indique's site under "Indique Celebs." These ladies hair game is usually on point, and I was impressed with what I saw and read about the hair on Indique's site so I figured that I'd give them a shot. They have all different textures, styles, lengths, colors, and types of hair installation options (hand tied wefts, clip ins, ponytails, bulk hair, machine wefted hair, frontals, fishnets, and more!).
My fishnet in it's tube (the packaging is too cute!)
I decided to purchase a 22 inch fishnet in the relaxed straight texture ($283), so that it blended with and behaved like my own relaxed hair. A fishnet is a clip in unit with 9 wefts interlinked together to create one unit...it gives you the effect of having a partial sew in. It has 4 clips at the top and 2 at the bottom, with a honeycomb thing going on in the middle so you can pull your hair through if you wish (me and Momma Fab are holding it in the picture below so y'all can see what I'm talking about). I only use the top 4 clips without pulling my hair through, and my fishnet always stays in securely. As it is natural indian hair, it only comes in one color which falls between a 1B - 2 which is fine as that matches the darker portion of my hair perfectly.
What the inside of the fishnet looks like, the 4 clips go at the top of your head

My fishnet air-dryed
I love this thing! It's so easy to clip in and use, blends well with my own hair, and it looks absolutely beautiful. I'm definitely going to get a sew in with this hair (not the unit, but it's the same hair they sell as wefts under their Bounce collection). I care for it the same way as I would my own hair, though I use sulfate free shampoo (as pictured below and recommended by Indique) to wash it before I condition it and let it air dry for 2 days.
What I use to wash my hair, and this fishnet
This is actually my second fishnet, my first one acted crazy after I curled it...I don't know why as you can use heat tools on it (it's human hair), I was super careful, and I never sleep in it. I was told that I probably just got a bad batch, and as it was within 30 days from when I purchased it I was able to just take it back to the Indique Store that I purchased it from and they replaced it for me without any hassle. They have great customer service!

As you can see in the pictures below, I've tried a bunch of different styles with this hair (straight, curly, fishtail braids) and they've all looked really good. Indique's hair comes packaged in tubes by the way, which I thought was kinda cute. They suggest that you wash the hair before you install it too, just a tip.

Overall I would and still do recommend that people try Indique if they're looking for high quality hair, and I suggest purchasing it from your closest Indique store (if theres one in your area) so that you can take a look at the hair and the different textures for yourself and see what you like.

If you have any questions about the hair on something that I haven't addressed, leave a comment and I'll answer as best as I can =)

EDITED TO ADD: Well Bella's I tried curling my 2nd relaxed texture fishnet, and had the same daggone problem. As Indique doesn't offer refunds, they replaced it with a straight fishnet, their shampoo, conditioner, and argan oil (to make up the price difference) so I'll try and work with it and let y'all know how it goes. I obviously can no longer in good conscience recommend Indique's relaxed texture of hair...but I'll let you know how their straight texture is. Hopefully this one is perfect. I washed it with their products, and it's air-drying while I write this. Look for a review on it over the course of the week.
