Layers of Love Spell & VS Very Sexy Beauty of Brazil Gloss Reviews

Ciao Bellas,
As promised, I ventured over to Victoria's Secret the other day to check out the Layers of Love Spell products. I tested them out on their own, and mixed with Love Spell...right away the scents that made the biggest impression on me were Soft Raspberry and Warm Coconut (in that order). Cherry Blossom didn't really do much for me, nor was it as noticeable when mixed with Love Spell, but that's most likely because it's already in the scent to begin with. All it really did was make that note of the scent a bit more prominent, so if you like Cherry Blossom scents this is probably ideal for you. Warm Coconut smells pleasant, and it's kind of like...if they took Love Spell and mixed it with some sexy tropicalish scent (like those ones that have a beach sunset on the bottle). Essentially it's Love Spell, summer-fied. Soft Raspberry is my favorite, and in my opinion the most noticeably different when added to Love Spell. It smells very sexy, in a fruity, almost floral perfume sort of way. Definitely worth checking out first, and I think I'm going to purchase some soon (or Warm Coconut, it's almost summer so it's a toss up). On a side note, while I was at the store I checked out the Very Sexy Gloss from the Beauty of Brazil collection, in Juicy Acai (I saw it in the current issue of Essence with our First Lady and her Mom on the cover). It's a deep berry pink shade with noticeable gold shimmer (I'm not usually one for bold lip colors, but I love it. Enough to distract me from how I had just seen the Style Warriors collection in a bag on the table at my fave MAC counter, but I didn't get to play with it *pout*), and women of color, we can rock this. It's sheer but thankfully not sticky like the Beauty Rush glosses, and it tastes pretty good. I'm might even check out the Golden Papaya shade as well.

Stylishly Yours,
Ms. Fab
