Finding Celeb Style Inspiration

Ciao Bellas,

I LOVE me some makeover shows (What Not to Wear is one my all time faveorites, though I kind of wonder what ever happened to Stacy's show "Shut Up, It's Stacy London!" that she had for a hot minute...), but I absolutely love the ones that are inspired by different celebritys. Style Her Famous is probably one of the best ones that I've seen, as they look at the celeb's style, take key elements of it, and infuse it with the makeover recipents. I'm not ashamed to say that I have the Beyonce and J.Lo episodes saved on my DVR, as I love their style (I have a long list of Celeb Style inspirations though). I like the idea of how when the take the recipent shopping, they're like "Is this something *insert Celeb inspiration here* would wear?" not like you could only wear what like, Beyonce would wear, but keeping her style essence within view. Lately I've taken to watching Look-A-Like on the TVGuide Channel too, but it's more of a straight up "We're going to make you look as much like suchandsuch as possible" kind of deal. I'm not going to lie though, my faveorite episode is the Mariah Carey makeover. Something about that was straight up fierce (Is it kind of sad that as I watch all the different episodes, I can pick out exactly which products the MUA uses are from MAC, and sometimes the color and collection?). There are also a lot of websites devoted to different celeb's styles (it mostly shows pics from their outfits), like Jessica's Style, which features everybody from Posh Spice, to Miley Cyrus.
Stylishly Yours,
Ms. Fab
